Totally Badass!

Abby has begun to really express herself artistically. Her favourite medium is body art, and let me tell you, she's very talented! How can you get mad when she comes running into the room covered head to toe in marker shouting "Look! Look! My tummy!" So far, she is happy to use marker, stickers, and yes even eyeliner. I would prefer she stick to the first two, eyeliner is REALLY hard to wash off, especially when it's been pressed and ground into the cheek of a 2 year old!

Catching Up on Some Paperwork

I just thought this looked hilarious. Looks like she brought some paperwork home from the office to catch up on. Our little bookworm! (The papers are actually Abby and Kyran's masterpieces)

Mmmm... Freshly laundered babies!

Maga did some laundry while we were visiting at their house... and look what she found in the laundry basket! Clean and toasty warm babies from the drier. There's nothing better!

Eating like a Champ

Eva is growing like a weed and getting bigger by the day. She has been eating solid food for a couple of weeks now, and she is really getting the hang of it. She took to it right away, and I think she looks forward to breakfast and supper so that she can gobble up her rice cereal... mmmm!

"Dis my Special Bed!"

We have officially switched Abby to her big girl bed! Here are a few pics of her first night in her "special bed". So far, so good! Bedtimes are a breeze. Naptimes can be a bit of a fight, but she has managed to settle and catch a bit of sleep and that's a-okay with us! And no tumbles out of bed so far... keep your fingers crossed.

Birthday 09 Part II

Here are a few pictures of Abby's party in Saskatoon. She had a great time playing with her cousins and visiting with all her aunties! (and Uncle Kent. And Maga and Grampa, too, of course!) We are now having to do an emergency purge of unused toys at our house... this child really cleaned up this year! We literally have no more room for her toys. There are going to be some very lucky kids at Salvation Army this year!

Tea for Two and Two for Tea

We just returned from another great visit in Saskatoon, and another successful birthday party as well! Abby got a great gift that she just HAD to try out with Grampa... a tea set! Grampa was pretty into it, too. Strange.

Another year has rolled by and we are in the midst of the always frantic September Birthday-palooza! We had a joint Abby-Daddy birthday party on the 13th of this month, and it was a smash hit!
